Volunteering & Sponsorship

Volunteers Volunteer Info

Willing to volunteer? The RDT undertakes a wide range of programmes from Electro fishing, Invertebrate monitoring to Invasive plant control all of which require assistance from volunteers to some degree. From school pupils, students to offshore workers and retiree's there are a wide range of activities or projects which you can assist the Trust with. The RDT will provide the experience, equipment and any required training to equip the volunteer with the skills and accreditation to undertake the task to a proficient level. Volunteer work ensures that the RDT is able to gather that vital information to help manage the catchment appropriately or carry out necessary practical conservation or restoration work which could not be achieved without volunteer assistance.
